The first stall is rarely “which format.” It is what must be ready before a seat can open. This note is a checklist—not a format catalog.
1. Participant registration → host role
One account per person. Register as a participant first, then add the host role on the same ID. Hosting is not a second login—it is a role on the account you already use to bid.
2. Stripe Identity and Connect
Stripe Identity (identity verification) and Connect (payout setup) unlock Go Live and hosting. Until both are ready, the listing stays locked—same rule on phone and desktop.
Country coverage for host payouts is limited. We do not publish an unverified world list here. If your country is not supported yet, the dashboard will say so before you invest setup time.
3. Experience date: auction end day or later
Set the experience date on or after auction end—same day or later (weeks or months out are allowed when your calendar needs it). Bidders put a card down because they can see when they meet you. The date is public at listing and cannot be rewritten after a win.
4. Floor and buy-now → pricing note
Do not invent yen tables in this checklist. Floor and buy-now come from your usual rates—ratios live in the pricing article, not here.
5. Stream is not required at start
Pressing start opens the auction clock. You do not have to be on camera for the whole window. The timer, holds, and chat can keep moving offline. Come back when heat needs a voice—perk copy, cooking, where to meet after the win.
FAQ
Q. Can I list without streaming tonight?
A. Yes. The auction can run with the clock (and offline thumbnail) while you are away. Camera is for the hours that need a host voice—not a 24-hour stand.
Q. Can I accept bids before identity verification?
A. No. Identity (Stripe Identity) and Connect must be ready before hosting unlocks. Bids are not accepted on a locked listing.
